Route 4043 Red Mud Hollow Road Slide Repair Starts Monday in Ohio Township

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT is announcing slide repair work on Route 4043 (Red Mud Hollow Road) in Ohio Township, Allegheny County will begin Monday, June 24 weather permitting.

Slide repair work, requiring the closure of a portion of Red Mud Hollow Road between the Sheetz entrance and Creese Road, will begin at approximately 7 a.m. on Monday. To allow the work to occur, an around-the-clock closure of Red Mud Hollow Road will occur through early July. Traffic will be detoured via Mt. Nebo Road and Magee Road.

PennDOT crews will conduct the work. Please use caution if traveling in the area.
