Route 2059 Long Road Slide Repair Starts Monday in Penn Hills

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT is announcing slide repair work on Route 2059 (Long Road) in Municipality of Penn Hills, Allegheny County will begin Monday, May 20 weather permitting.

Slide repair work, pipe replacement, and shoulder reconstruction requiring the closure of a portion of Long Road will begin at 7 a.m. Monday. To allow the work to occur, an around-the-clock closure of Long Road between Beulah Road (Route 130) and Pentland Drive will occur through mid-June. Traffic will be detoured via Route 130 and Route 380.

PennDOT crews will conduct the work. Please use caution when traveling through the corridor.
