Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge inspection activities on I-79 in Marshall Township, Allegheny County, will occur Thursday and Friday, August 1-2 weather permitting.
Inspection activities requiring lane closures will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day according to the following schedule:
Thursday, August 1
- Northbound I-79 on the structure over the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76), just north of mile post 76
Friday August 2

Southbound I-79 on the structure over the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) at Route 19, approximately one-half mile south of the on-ramp from I-76
Crews from Mackin Engineering will conduct the routine inspection activities.
