Fort Duquesne Bridge Ramp Inspections Friday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing ramp restrictions on ramps at the I-279 Fort Duquesne Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Friday, June 7 weather permitting.

​Ramp narrowing and traffic shifts will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday in the following locations: 

  • Southbound Fort Duquesne Bridge ramp to Fort Duquesne Boulevard

  • Northbound I-279 ramp to the 10th Street Bypass

Crews from The Azalea Group, LLC and Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the routine inspections.

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area.  Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
