Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing shoulder restrictions on southbound Route 28 in O’Hara Township, Allegheny County will begin Monday, September 15 weather permitting.
A shoulder restriction will be in place on southbound Route 28 at the rockfall area between the Harmar/I-76/Route 910 (Exit 11) and RIDC Park (Exit 10) interchanges weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM through late September.
Additionally, there will be single-lane restrictions, as needed, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM weekdays to allow equipment to enter and exit the work zone.
Crews from Liberoni, Inc. will conduct rockfall debris cleanup behind concrete barrier.
Please use caution if traveling on this roadway. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
