Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection activities on the I-579 Veterans Bridge over the Allegheny River in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Monday through Thursday, May 5-8 weather permitting.
Inspection activities will occur on the I-579 Veterans Bridge according to the following schedule:
- Monday and Tuesday, May 5-6 – Southbound single-lane restriction from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day
- Wednesday and Thursday, May 7-8 – Northbound single-lane restriction from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day
Crews from the Azalea Group and the Pittsburgh Rigging Company will conduct the routine inspection work.
