    Route 885 Boulevard of the Allies Bridge and Ramp Inspections Thursday in Pittsburgh

    Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge and ramp inspection activities on the Boulevard of the Allies (Route 885) at the Birmingham Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Thursday, February 16 weather permitting.

    Single-lane restrictions and ramp narrowing will occur as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday in the following locations: 

    • Westbound Boulevard of the Allies over the Birmingham Bridge ramps to Forbes Avenue

    • Birmingham Bridge on and off-ramps at Forbes Avenue

    Crews from the Larson Design Group will conduct the inspection work.

    Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area.  Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
