Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today there will be overnight lane closures on Route 268 between the Franklin Village Shopping Center and the Walmart entrance signal in Kittanning, Armstrong County.
September 17 through September 30, 2024, crews will be milling, paving, and performing miscellaneous construction work from 6 PM to 6 AM nightly. There will be single lane restrictions with flaggers controlling traffic.
Contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker, State College, PA will be completing this $15.6 million resurfacing project that will conclude at the end of November 2024. The project includes the Route 268-West Kittanning interchange in Armstrong County, between Worthington Borough in Armstrong County and the intersection of Graham/Burke Road in Butler County and at a bridge spanning Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park in Butler County.
