Stevenson Road Closure for PA 68 Corridor Improvement Project Detour Postponed

​Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing that the detour for the corridor improvement project on PA 68 in Butler and Connoquenessing Townships in Butler County will be postponed. 

Originally scheduled to begin on May 14, the Stevenson Road closure will be delayed to a date to be determined.  As details become available, information will be sent out.

This three-year project includes signal replacements, turn lane installation and corridor improvements to enhance safety and reduce congestion along PA 68.

 

Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. of State College, PA is the contractor for this $18.7 million project which is estimated to be completed in November 2025.
