Repairs to Begin Tomorrow on Creek Road (Route 4012) Bridge in Washington Township, York County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that repairs are scheduled to begin tomorrow on the Creek Road (Route 4012) bridge spanning the North Branch Bermudian Creek between Milford Green Road and Hull Road, in Washington Township, York County. The bridge was closed last Friday due to deterioration discovered on the bridge deck pavement.

Weather permitting, a contractor will begin asphalt paving on the bridge tomorrow, Wednesday, April 9. This work will be performed during daylight hours. Once the initial layer of asphalt is in place, the deck will be assessed to determine if another layer is needed before the bridge can be opened.

Until then, an approximately 5.5-mile detour is in place using Route 194, Davidsburg Road (Route 4008), and Kralltown Road.

Creek Road average 981 vehicles per day.
