King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that milling and paving is scheduled on Route 413 (Langhorne Newtown Road) in Middletown Township, under a resurfacing project to repair and pave 25 miles of state highways in Bucks County using bituminous material.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, September 9, through Friday, September 13, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 413 (Langhorne Newtown Road) at the Route 332 (Newtown Bypass) Interchange.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Under this resurfacing improvement project, PennDOT's contractor is repairing, milling, and repaving 7 state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
