Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a countywide microsurfacing project will begin today on Route 6 in Bradford County.
On Thursday, June 20, 2024, between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM, the contractor will be milling a portion of Route 6 approximately 0.75 miles east of the intersection with Route 187 in Wysox Township, Bradford County. Work will continue in this location on Monday, June 24, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, as the contractor is scheduled to apply the epoxy surface treatment in the same location. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed.
On Monday, June 24, 2024, between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM, the contractor will begin pavement marking eradication on Elmira Street (Route 1069) between Keystone Avenue (Route 1070) to approximately 0.1 miles north of the intersection of Route 199 and Edward Street in Athens Borough and South Waverly Borough.
Additional work locations for this project includes
- Route 6 between Sterling Hill Road and Crossroad Road / Shumway Road in Wyalusing and Tuscarora townships.
- Route 6 between Main Street (Route 2027) and Laning Creek Road (Route 1033) in Wysox Township.
- Route 6 between Route 187 and Red Rock Road in Wysox Township.
- Route 6 between Valley Road (Route 1025) and Rummerfield Creek Road (Route 1021) in Wysox Township.
- Route 3027 (Center Street / Minnequa Main Road) between North Street and Route 14 in Canton Township.
