7:15 PM UPDATE: Route 147 SB is open in Northumberland and Union counties.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that the Route 15 southbound on-ramp from Route 147 southbound (CSVT) River Bridge is closed in Union Township, Union County, due to an overturned tractor trailer. Route 147 southbound is closed at the Route 405 (Northumberland) exit) in Point Township, Northumberland County, prior to the CSVT River Bridge, in order to clear the queued traffic.
A detour using Route 405 and Route 11 is in place. The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
