Route 322 Eastbound at Oak Hall Going Back to Right Lane Closure

Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said it will again close the right (travel) lane of Route 322 eastbound near the Oak Hall interchange in College Township on Wednesday, July 30, as work continues to rehabilitate a pair of bridges spanning Route 3010 (Warner Boulevard) and Spring Creek. This work will improve the ride quality of the bridges, extend their service life, and improve their overall condition ratings from fair to good.

The contractor closed the travel lane at this location earlier in the construction season but needs to do so again to complete additional work on the concrete deck surface. PennDOT expects this traffic pattern to remain in place until the contractor completes the project later in August. All schedules are weather-dependent.

PennDOT said the pattern on the westbound side will remain unchanged, with the left (passing) lane remaining closed.

Work on this pair of bridges includes pouring new concrete decking, joint sealing, repairing the bridge railing, paving the approaches, and miscellaneous construction. George S Hann & Son, Inc. of Littleton, PA, is the contractor on this $2 million project. A third bridge along Route 3022 (University Drive) spanning Route 26 in State College also saw work as part of this contract, which the contractor completed during the 2024 construction season.
