    RR Xing Work Planned on Peach Glen-Idaville Road in Huntington Township, Adams County

    ​Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a contractor is scheduled to replace a railroad crossing on Peach Glen-Idaville Road in Huntington Township, Adams County. The crossing is located just east of Peach Glen Road.

    Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, November 13, and is tentatively expected to be completed Tuesday, November 14. The crossing will be closed and a detour will be in place using Peach Glen Road and Georgetown Road.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.

    511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.
