Litter Pickup Scheduled on Routes in Lancaster County

PennDOT crews to remove litter along Routes 30, 222, and 283

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced today that PennDOT maintenance crews in Lancaster County are scheduled to pick litter up along major routes in the county next week. 

This work is expected to be performed during daylight hours next week on Route 30, Route 222 and Route 283.

There will be no traffic impacts. However, motorists should be alert and watch for PennDOT workers and vehicles operating near the roadway.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
