Bridges to be inspected
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that there will be daytime lane and shoulder restrictions, weather permitting, next Tuesday, June 4, on westbound and eastbound Route 581 bridges spanning the Conodoguinet Creek between Exit 2 and Exit 3 in Cumberland County so an inspection can be performed.
The eastbound and westbound right lane and/or right shoulder will be closed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 4. At least one travel lane each direction will remain open.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
