Bridge to be inspected
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that there will be daytime lane width restrictions implemented next Wednesday and Thursday, June 5-6 on Center Street (Route 1015/East Penn Drive) bridge spanning the Conodoguinet Creek in Camp Hill Borough and East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County, so an inspection can be performed.
Weather permitting, lane width restrictions of 12-14 feet will occur in both directions of Center Street from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM each day. One channelized travel lane in each direction will remain open.
Inspectors plan to inspect the bridge using an inspection crane from the roadway.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
