Inspection Planned for I-83 Bridges over Derry Street (Route 3012) in Swatara Township, Dauphin County

Lanes restrictions on Derry Street

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that an inspection is planned next week for the Interstate 83 bridges spanning Derry Street (Route 3012) in Swatara Township, Dauphin County. 

Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 6.

There will be alternating eastbound and westbound right lane closures on Derry Street between East Park Drive and the ramp to northbound I-83.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
