King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that trail construction is scheduled on Greenwood Avenue in Abington Township, Montgomery County, under a local safety improvement project.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- From 7:00 PM on Friday, June 21, through 5:00 AM on Monday, June 24, a closure is scheduled on Greenwood Avenue between Washington Lane and Meetinghouse Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Meetinghouse Road, Route 73 (Township Line Road), and Route 611 (Old York Road).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
