King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that intersection improvements and multi-use trail construction will begin on State Road in Philadelphia under a local safety improvement project on Thursday, February 22.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Thursday, February 22, through Thursday, August 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic weekday lane closures are scheduled on State Road in both directions between Pennypack Path and the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility entrance.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
