King of Prussia PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that various construction activities are scheduled next week on Interstate 76, Interstate 95, and other state highways in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties.
The work schedules and locations are:
- Monday, February, 6, and Tuesday, February 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a moving left lane closure is scheduled on westbound I-76 between the Passyunk Avenue and the Montgomery Drive interchanges in Philadelphia for overhead sign inspection;
- Monday, February 6, through Thursday, February 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, moving right lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Route 611/Broad Street and the Academy Road/Linden Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia for overhead sign inspection; and
- Monday, February 6, through Friday, February 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Lewis Road between Linfield-Trappe Road and Main Street in Royersford and Limerick townships, Montgomery County, for pothole repair.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
These construction activities are part of PennDOT's program to ensure the safety and overall condition of our state highways.
