King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Sellersville Borough will be performing utility construction on Lawn Avenue in West Rockhill Township and Sellersville Borough, Bucks County, beginning on Monday, October 6.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, October 6, through Friday, November 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Lawn Avenue will be closed and detoured weekdays between Maple Avenue and Noble Street. During the closure, passenger vehicles will be directed to use Maple Avenue, Farmers Lane, and Lawn Avenue. Trucks will be directed to use Cat Hill Road, County Line Road, and Route 563 (Ridge Road).
- Monday, November 17, through Friday, December 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Lawn Avenue will be closed and detoured weekdays between Noble Street and Noble Street. During the closure, passenger vehicles will be directed to use Maple Avenue, Farmers Lane, and Lawn Avenue. Trucks will be directed to use Noble Street, Main Street, and Route 563 (Ridge Road).
- Monday, December 8, through Friday, January 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging will be in place on Lawn Avenue between Noble Street and Almont Road.
- Monday, January 12, 2026, through Friday, January 30, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, Lawn Avenue will be closed and detoured weeknights between Life Mark Drive and Almont Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Noble Street, Main Street, and Route 563 (Ridge Road).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Sellersville Borough will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
