After a recent in-depth bridge inspection, it has been determined that the Skinners Falls bridge, which carries Route 1002 over the Delaware River in Wayne County, must be dismantled in the interest of public safety, specifically for Delaware River boating and recreational traffic. The bridge has been closed to vehicular traffic since 2019.
