Pipe Replacement Project to Begin Next Week on Stitzer Road in East Cameron Township, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a daylight road closure will begin next week on Route 125 (Stitzer Road) in East Cameron Township, Northumberland County, for a pipe replacement project.

On Monday, June 3, 2024 through Friday, June 7, 2024, Stitzer Road will be closed between Creek Road (T-399) and Route 2044 (Upper Road) while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces pipes and installs new drainage in the area.

A detour using Route 3010 (Schwaben Creek Road), Route 3008 (Cherry Town Road), Route 225, Route 3004 (Lower Road), and Upper Road, will be in in place while work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel.
