Bridge Maintenance Next Week on Route 487 in Columbia County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a bridge maintenance project is scheduled next week on Route 487 (Ferry Road) in the Town of Bloomsburg and Catawissa Township, Columbia County.

On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be removing light poles between East Fort McClure Street in the Town of Bloomsburg and Route 2009 (Mainville Drive) in Catawissa Township. 

Work will take place between the hours of 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed and are urged to drive with caution in the area.
