Route 3098 Glass Run Road Eastbound Lane Restriction Starts Tuesday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing an eastbound lane restriction on Glass Run Road (Route 3098) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, September 5 weather permitting.

A long-term single-lane restriction will be implemented Wednesday morning on Glass Run Road in the eastbound direction between the South 885 Streets Run Road/Mifflin Road on-ramp and Baldwin Road.  The around-the-clock lane closure will allow crews to conduct inlet, curb, and sidewalk replacement.  The lane closure will remain in place through early October. Pedestrians will be accommodated.

Additionally, single-lane restrictions controlled by flaggers will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday in the same location to allow crews to conduct saw cutting operations.
