Route 3031 Prestley Road Slide Repair Starts Wednesday in Collier Township

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT is announcing slide repair work on Route 3031 (Prestley Road) in Collier Township, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, June 5 weather permitting.

Slide repair work and drainage improvements requiring the closure of a portion of Prestley Road will begin at 7 a.m. Wednesday. To allow the work to occur, an around-the-clock closure of Prestley Road between Jones Road and Thoms Run Road will occur through late June. Traffic will be detoured.

  • Follow Thoms Run Road westbound to Presto Sygan Road

  • Turn left onto Presto Sygan Road

  • Turn left onto Millers Run Road

  • Turn left onto Route 50

  • Turn left onto Washington Pike (Route 50)

  • Follow Washington Pike back to Prestley Road

  • End detour

South of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction

Crews from A. Liberoni, Inc. will conduct the work. Please use caution when traveling through the corridor.
