Route 2084 Milltown Road Slide Repair Work Starts Monday in Plum

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT is announcing slide repair work on a portion of Milltown Road (Route 2084) in the Borough of Plum, Allegheny County will begin Monday, July 31 weather permitting.

A portion of Milltown Road between Shearer Road and Barnes Road will close to through traffic from 7 a.m. on Monday continuously through late September.  Traffic will be detoured.

Posted Detours

West of the Closure

  • Continue west on Milltown Road

  • Milltown Road becomes Boda Road

  • Boda Road becomes Bridge Street

  • Bridge Street becomes Iowa Street

  • Turn right onto Hulton Road

  • Turn right onto Coxcomb Hill Road

  • Turn right onto Kerr Road

  • Follow Kerr Road back to Milltown Road

  • End detour

East of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction

Crews from A. Liberoni, Inc. will conduct slide remediation work, wall installation, paving, and other miscellaneous construction activities.
