I-579 Overnight Lane Restrictions Start Thursday Night in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing overnight lane restrictions on Interstate 579 in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will start Thursday night, October 26 weather permitting.

Single-lane restrictions will occur on I-579 in both directions at the “Cap” Urban Connector weeknights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday night, November 16.  Lane restrictions will not occur in both directions simultaneously. Crews will conduct electrical conduit replacement work.
