Pittsburgh, PA –The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing concrete repair work on southbound I-279 (Parkway North) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will begin Monday night, March 30 weather permitting.
Concrete repair work requiring a single-lane restriction on southbound I-279 between the North Shore (Exit 1B) off-ramp and the Fort Duquesne Bridge will occur from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM weeknights through mid-April. Crews from Allison Park Contractors will conduct the concrete repair work.
This work will be coordinated with nightly inspection work occurring on the Fort Duquesne Bridge.
Please use caution if traveling on the ramps. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
