Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that on Monday, May 4, preparations begin for a 3.8-mile pavement repair and resurfacing project on Route 94 (Carlisle Pike) between Pine Run Road in Hamilton Township and Route 234 in Reading Township, Adams County.
Weather permitting, a mobile tree trimming operation will begin on Monday, May 4. There will be lane restrictions under flagging during daylight hours.
This project consists of roadway resurfacing, drainage improvements, guiderail updates, and other miscellaneous construction.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
JVI Group, Inc. of York Springs, PA, is the contractor on this $2,524,576 project. All work is expected to be completed by April 30, 2027.
