Nightly lane closures from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Weather permitting, overnight and weekend northbound lane closures to conduct ramp upgrades and median work within the Route 772 (Newport Road) interchange will continue through June.
The Route 772 on-ramp to Route 222 northbound will be closed from 8:00 PM Thursday, May 28, through 8:00 PM Sunday, May 31. A detour will be in place using Route 772, Route 222, Route 272, Jake Landis Road (Route 1029), and Pinetown Road.
Following the northbound on-ramp closure, an 11-foot width restriction will be in place on the ramp from June 1 through June 28.
The Route 222 northbound off-ramp for Route 772 will be closed from May 28 through June 28. A detour will be in place using Route 222, and Route 322.
Most of the roadwork for this project has been completed. However, lane and ramp closures on northbound Route 222 are necessary to finish the remaining items of work.

This project consists of bituminous resurfacing, full-width milling, base repair, concrete patching, guide rail updates, line painting, and sign updates on northbound and southbound Route 222 from the Bushong Road overhead bridge to the Pool Road overhead bridge.
