Bridge to close for replacement, traffic detoured starting May 26.
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today reminded travelers that on Tuesday, May 26, a locally-owned bridge on Grantham Road (T-913) in Monaghan Township, York County, and Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, will close for replacement. The bridge spans Yellow Breeches Creek to the south of Mill Road.
Northbound traffic will be detoured using Grantham Road to Siddonsburg Road to Route 15 to Lisburn Road, back to Grantham Road to Mill Road. Southbound traffic will be detoured using Mill Road to Grantham Road to W. Lisburn Road to Williams Grove Road to York Road to Route 15 to Siddonsburg Road and back to Grantham Road.
Deblin, Inc., of Mechanicsburg is the contractor on this $2,236,085 project. All work is expected to be completed by November 17, 2026.
