High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) is an innovative technique to improve the safety of motorists by increasing friction between a vehicle’s tires and the road surface. It involves applying high-quality aggregate with a polymer binder to the pavement.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, Inc., of New Enterprise, PA, is the contractor for this work.
