Project materials and a comment form are now available online
Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT’s) Engineering District 12, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), invites the public to participate in a Virtual Plans Display to review and provide feedback on the Route 2008 (Plant Road) over Dunkard Creek Bridge Replacement Project in Dunkard Township, Greene County.
This project will replace the existing two-span structure with a two-span concrete box beam structure. This will allow the structure to handle two-way traffic, an improvement over the current single-lane operation. Additional construction activities include replacing the pavement on either side of the structure and driveway tie-ins, installing new signage and pavement markings, minor drainage upgrades, and guide rail updates. Traffic will be maintained via detour during construction.
The purpose of this Virtual Plans Display is to provide information on the Route 2008 over Dunkard Creek Project covering the improvements, impacts, traffic control, and anticipated schedule.
To participate in the Virtual Plans Display visit PennDOT’s District 12 website under the Projects Near You and select Route 2008 Over Dunkard Creek Project. The materials will be on the website for the duration of the project. The public comment period is May 19 through June 2.
