Drilling Work Begins Tuesday in South Fayette

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing lane restrictions for drilling work on Washington Pike (Route 3003) and Boyce Road (Route 3006) in South Fayette Township, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, May 5 weather permitting.

Drilling work requiring single-lane alternating traffic will occur weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through late May on the following roadways:

  • Washington Pike (Route 3003) between Boyce Road and Alpine Road
  • Boyce Road (Route 3006) between Washington Pike and Summit Ridge Drive

Crews from JMT, Monaloh Basin Engineers, and Wright Traffic Control will conduct the work. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zones.

Please use caution if traveling on these roadways. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
