Lane restriction between Spooky Nook Road and Route 230; Delays expected
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in Lancaster County is scheduled next week to perform concrete pavement repairs on westbound Route 283 in East Hempfield Township.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday, September 25, and 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 26, on westbound Route 283 between Spooky Nook Road (Route 4001/Salunga Exit) and Route 230 (Mount Joy Exit). The right travel lane will be closed during work hours.
This could cause delays. Motorists should consider alternate routes or plan extra time for their travels.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
