King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair begins next week on Orvilla Road in Hatfield Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, September 23, through Wednesday, September 25, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Orvilla Road will be closed between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and Koffel Road. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Koffel Road, Route 463 (Forty Foot Road), and Route 63 (Welsh Road).
- Thursday, September 26, through Monday, September 30, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Orvilla Road will be closed weekdays between Koffel Road and Route 463 (Cowpath Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 463 (Cowpath Road), Route 463 (West Broad Street/Forty Foot Road), and Koffel Road.
- Tuesday, October 1, through Thursday, October 3, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Orvilla Road will be closed between Route 463 (Cowpath Road) and Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike), Broad Street, and Route 463 (Cowpath Road).
Local access will be maintained. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
