King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Easttown Township will be performing utility improvements on Waterloo Avenue in Easttown Township, Chester County, beginning Wednesday, September 13.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Wednesday, September 13, through Friday, December 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Waterloo Avenue will be closed with flagging on weekdays between Midland Avenue and Dogwood Lane. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), Waterloo Road, and Sugartown Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Easttown Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
