Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Route 1006 (Eighth Street) will be closed next week in Watsontown Borough, Northumberland County, for a sewer main repair.
On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, and Thursday, October 19, 2023, Eighth Street will be closed at the intersection with Broad Street while the Milton Regional Sewer Authority performs sewer main repairs.
A detour using Route 1003 (Matthew Street) and Ninth Street will be in place while work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for slow or stopped traffic, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
