King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that milling and paving are scheduled on Creamery Road/Geigel Hill Road in Tinicum Township, Bucks County, under a project to resurface 25 miles of state highway in Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, November 6, through mid-November, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Creamery Road will be closed weekdays between the Creamery Road bridge over Tohickon Creek and the Route 611 (Easton Road) overpass; and
- Mid-November, through late November, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Creamery Road/Geigel Hill Road will be closed weekdays between the Route 611 (Easton Road) overpass and Upper Tinicum Church Road.
Under this pavement improvement project, PennDOT will mill and resurface seven state highways using bituminous material. The new pavements will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. of Perkasie is the general contractor on this $9.4 million project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
