King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that line striping will occur on several state highways in Bucks County under a project to install safety enhancements to improve travel and reduce high-speed crashes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic weekday lane closure is scheduled on the Route 132 (Street Road) westbound ramp to U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) in Bensalem Township;
- Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) at the intersection with Pine Lane/Pineville Road in Wrightstown Township; and
- Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic weekday lane closure is scheduled on Penn Valley Road at the intersection with Bristol Pike in Falls Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, is the general contractor on this $7.5 million project, which is financed with 100% federal funds.
