Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a resurfacing and ADA curb ramp reconstruction project continues next week along Route 405 (Main Street) between Lycoming Street and Route 118 in Hughesville Borough, Lycoming County.
On Monday, October 16, 2023, the contractor, HRI, Inc., will continue work for the ADA curb ramps throughout the project area. Work will be performed during daylight hours. There will be minimal impact to traffic during this phase.
Milling and resurfacing of Main Street is complete.
HRI, Inc., is the prime contractor for this $500,000 resurface and ADA reconstruction project. Work on this project includes milling and resurfacing of existing roadway, base repairs, joint repairs, scratch and wearing courses, construct ADA curb ramps, pavement markings, and other miscellaneous construction. Work is expected to be completed in October of 2023, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for stopped or slow-moving vehicles, and drive with caution through the work zone.
