Pipe Replacement Project Begins Tomorrow on Orange Hill Road in Athens Township, Bradford County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Orange Hill Road (Route 1054) will be closed during daylight hours, starting tomorrow, in Athens and Litchfield townships, Bradford County, for a pipe replacement project.

Starting on Thursday, September 12, 2024, Orange Hill Road will be closed between Sheshequin Road (Route 1043) in Athens Township and Ridge Road (Route 1052) in Litchfield Township, while a Pennsylvania Department of Pennsylvania of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces deteriorating pipes.

A detour using Sheshequin Road and Ridge Road will be in place while work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed on Monday, September 16, 2024, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
