5/23/2024 UPDATE: Route 487 is open in Columbia County.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 487 is closed in both directions between Route 11 in Bloomsburg and Central Road in Scott Township, Columbia County, due to a material spill.
A detour using Central Road, Route 11, and Interstate 80 is in place. The roadway is expected to be closed for several days for testing.
Motorists are advised to slow down and drive with caution through the area.
