Inspections Next Week on Cool Springs Road (Route 1016) Bridge over Route 30 in York County

​Traffic will be restricted on Route 30 

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that there will be traffic restrictions next week on Route 30 in York County so an inspection can be performed on the Cool Springs Road (Route 1016) bridge spanning the highway at the exit to Route 462/Wrightsville in Hellam Township. 

Weather permitting, an inspection will be performed Wednesday, November 15, and Thursday, November 16, on the Cool Springs Road bridge spanning Route 30. There will be alternating left and right lane restrictions in both directions of Route 30 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM both days.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
