Oct. 9 Update: Bridge Project Tomorrow on the Veterans Bridge in Sunbury, Northumberland County

​October 9 Update: The Veterans Bridge project has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, October 10, 2024.​

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge project will take place tomorrow on the Veterans Bridge (Route 61) in Sunbury, Northumberland County.

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be replacing centerline delineators on the Veterans Bridge between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists can expect the left (passing) lane to be closed when work is being performed. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
