Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a water main project begins this week on Route 61 in Coal Township, Northumberland County.
Starting on Monday, June 2, 2025, the contractor, Daniel Shingara Enterprises, Inc. will begin a water main replacement project on Route 61 starting near Marysville Road, just east of the Walmart to Marysville Road, near the entrance to the Wastewater treatment plant. Motorists traveling in the southbound lane can expect the right (driving) lane to be restricted where work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, weather permitting.
