King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that resurfacing operations are planned on several state highways in Chester, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on a section of Springton Road between U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) and Route 282 (Creek Road) in West Brandywine and Wallace townships, Chester County.
- Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on a section of Green Valley Road between Route 82 (Doe Run Road) and Brandywine Creek Road in Newlin Township, Chester County.
- Monday, May 12, through Friday, May 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Route 332 (Richboro Road) between Holland Road and Hanover Street in Newtown Township, Bucks County.
- Tuesday, May 13, through Friday, May 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure will be in place on Richmond Street between Lewis Street and Bridge Street in Philadelphia.
- Tuesday, May 13, through Friday, May 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on Arch Street between Front Street and 15th Street in Philadelphia.
- Wednesday, May 14, through Friday, May 16, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on Broad Street (Route 611) between Allegheny Avenue and Hunting Park Avenue in Philadelphia.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
